What we measured

Four results.

Position

Zone-level.

Each asset placed in a zone of the yard, then found with the radar.

Battery

About 3 to 5% per shift.

On the phones of staff walking the yard.

Setup

Two scans per tag.

Scan the tag, scan the asset, done.

Infrastructure

No gateways.

Phones did all the reading during the test.

Zones, not metres

Why we report zones.

A position in metres sounds precise but changes as phones move. A zone your team knows, such as Row B or the wash bay, gets someone to the right place. The radar on the phone does the rest.
