Where the hours go

Rental yards lose time in four places.

Dispatch

Searching for one bucket.

The truck waits while someone walks the rows.

Returns

Machines back without a call.

Nobody logs what came back, or when.

Stages

Wash bay and workshop.

Ready or waiting for parts? The whiteboard knows, sometimes.

Off-hire

Attachments that stay behind.

The excavator came back. Its breaker is still in a container on site.

Seen from the gatehouse, a yard coordinator with a phone checks the buckets chained on a returning trailer.

Off-hire check-in

The return note writes itself as the truck rolls in.

A yard phone near the gate hears the tags on board. Hirro checks them against the contract and tells you what stayed behind.

Sample contract with a fictional customer. Times per stage in the wash bay or workshop need a gateway there; most yards start without one.

Turnaround you can see.

Staff phones place each machine in a zone as people walk the yard: Row B, the wash bay, the workshop. Dispatch sees what is ready to rent out without walking the rows.

Wash bay

Washed, checked, ready.

Each machine shows its stage, so the ready list is right when dispatch needs it.

AI assistants

Ask where it is, in the chat you already use.

Ask ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot where the breaker is, what has been idle for two weeks or what is still out on site. The answer comes from your live inventory, without opening Hirro.

Questions

For rental companies.

How do I find attachments on a rental yard?

Tag each attachment. Staff phones and gateways hear the tags and place them in a zone of the yard. Search the attachment in Hirro, then follow the radar on your phone to the spot.

Can Hirro track check-in and check-out?

Yes. A phone at the gate hears the tags on a truck as it comes in and checks them against the contract. If nobody stands at the gate, a gateway there can do the same.

We already use another tracker on our machines.

Keep it. Hirro can read its data and adds what it misses: the yard, the stages and the attachments. If you switch, the months left on your old contract come off our licence, up to 12.

Does it work with our rental ERP?

Yes. Hirro works with any ERP, including SAP, Odoo and Microsoft Dynamics. Each tag links to the asset through a connector, the API or an export.

A demo runs online or on your site. If it fits, we run an optional 2-week pilot on one zone of your yard before any contract.

Or leave your work email and we plan it with you.
